Surgical treatment
Wisdom teeth are the last teeth to erupt, located at the innermost part of the upper and lower jaws. Since they are the last to erupt and there is usually insufficient space, they are often lying at an angle or impacted within the gums.
In cases where a wisdom tooth growing at an angle in the gums is swollen and painful, extraction may be necessary if treating the inflammation alone is insufficient. We perform wisdom tooth extractions after a CT scan to prevent potential post-operative problems.
Precautions After Wisdom Tooth Extraction

If you experience bleeding after wisdom tooth extraction, it is best to swallow the blood rather than spitting it out.

If the pain worsens as the anesthesia wears off after tooth extraction, taking the prescribed painkillers will help.

You must refrain from drinking alcohol or smoking for about a week, and avoid warm food or using straws.
(Hot food can cause the blood clot at the extraction site to dissolve, potentially leading to infection.)
